HOW OUR WASTE MANAGEMENT OPERATES
Etappi provides safe and reliable waste management
Every household is to have a waste container. The waste containers are emptied at least every two weeks (densely populated areas) or every four weeks (rural areas). This is carried out by a selected contractor operating a stated area. No reusable or hazardous waste is to be placed in containers or collection bins. Such waste should be taken to an ekopoint or a waste station.
The regional collection points are for the owners of holiday homes to take their landfill waste to. They are subject to a seasonal fee or a yearly fee. Most of the regional collection points are in use between May 1st and September 30th. These collection points are only to be used by owners of holiday homes without an individual waste container or collection bin. The collection points are only meant for everyday waste from a holiday home. No household or kitchen appliances, construction waste nor hazardous waste is allowed. Such waste is to be taken to a waste station.
