Brick and concrete waste include, for example:

  • bricks
  • concrete pieces
  • ceramics and porcelain, such as flowerpots and dishes
  • sanitaryware, such as sinks and toilet bowls
  • sauna stove stones
  • dried mortar

Brick and concrete waste

Waste stations accept small volumes of two cubic metres free of charge. It must be possible to unload the pieces from the load by hand. Larger volumes and heavy pieces are accepted at the waste management centre in Ilmajoki and are subject to a charge according to the price list. Concrete pieces may contain steel reinforcing bars which must be cut into the length of the piece of concrete. The longest side of a piece of concrete must not exceed one metre.
