Rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, Ranu has been found as good as mineral fertiliser in tests by the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke).

The recommended annual amount for fertilising a lawn is usually 25 L / 100 m2.
Spring fertilisation can be performed as soon as snow has melted. Careful spring fertilisation is usually enough for the whole summer. The soil conditioner granules can also be used later during the growing season or for autumn fertilisation, as needed. The granules can be distributed on the lawn by hand or with a spreader. Watering speeds up its impact.
When creating a lawn, we recommend you use 200 L / 100 m2 of the granules mixed with soil.
For fertilising plants and bushes, Ranu can be either spread at the root of the plant or dispensed at the bottom of the planting pit.
The amount of fertiliser required for small plants is 1 litre a year and for large plants and bushes 2 litres a year.
The soil and the plant to be grown determine the amount of soil conditioner granules needed on agricultural land. The greatest recommended amount is 8.4 m3 per hectare when calculating the fertiliser amount for five years. It is particularly well suited for autumn fertilisation and especially for soil or plants that require phosphorus.
Spread with a lime spreader or some other disc spreader. Store outside sheltered from rain.
When calculating the amount to use, don’t forget to take into account the regulations of the agri-environmental aid and the Government Decree on Limiting Certain Emissions from Agriculture.
The product is not suited as a substrate as is.
