Waste paper
You can put the following in the waste paper container:
Waste paper includes any paper that has come to the household through the letter box.
- newspapers and magazines
- office paper
- junk mail
- recycled paper
- envelopes, even with windows
- coloured copy paper
- paperbacks
- the pages of hardbound books; the covers are combustible waste
Staples and the plastic windows in envelopes do not need to be removed. Do not bundle the paper using string or tape.
Waste paper from Etappi’s operating area goes to producer organisations for remanufacture. In Etappi’s operating area, these organisations are Encore Ympäristöpalvelut Oy and Suomen Keräystuote Oy.
