Every household must have a waste container that is emptied at least every two weeks in urban areas and at least every four weeks in rural areas. Containers are emptied by a specific contractor selected for each municipality.
No recyclable or hazardous waste must be put in the container; instead, they must be taken to a waste station. Packaging waste and paper must be taken to an eco point.
